About Hon. Lengwe Wushangka

Hon. Lengwe Gyigoce Wushangka is a seasoned public servant, entrepreneur, peace advocate, and community leader from Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria. Born on 15th February, he has dedicated his life to leadership, youth development, conflict resolution, and grassroots mobilization.

He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Conflict Management and Peace Studies (2018) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication (2012), both from the University of Jos. He also earned a Diploma in Theatre Arts, equipping him with strong communication, media, and public engagement skills. His academic background reflects his passion for peacebuilding, dialogue, and responsible public leadership.

Hon. Wushangka has served in several strategic capacities within government and civil society. He was Special Assistant to the Governor of Plateau State on Political Mobilization (2002–2007) and Personal Assistant to the Hon. Commissioner for Special Duties. His leadership journey also includes serving as Advisory Council Representative for North Central in the National Youth Council of Nigeria and as National President/Founder of the International Youth Forum on Social Justice, Drug Abuse and Crime Prevention (IYUSDAC).

Beyond politics, he is the MD/CEO of Amana Integrated Global Service Ltd and has consistently contributed to faith-based and community development initiatives. He has held various leadership roles within Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), youth organizations, and educational institutions, demonstrating his deep commitment to service at the grassroots level.

A skilled public speaker and mediator, Hon. Wushangka is known for his strength in political mobilization, public relations, conflict resolution, and project coordination. His exposure includes international media training in the United States and participation in national peace and security dialogues.

He speaks Ngas, English, and Hausa fluently and remains committed to building inclusive governance, empowering young people, and promoting unity and sustainable development within Kanke and beyond.

Hon. Lengwe Wushangka believes leadership is about responsibility, vision, and impact, and he continues to dedicate his experience, network, and passion toward advancing the common good.
